What is Champions Trophy?

Old Halesonians Hockey Club will be holding its Annual Champions Trophy Day on Saturday 1st July 2023 at King Edwards Five Ways School and would like to invite your son(s) / daughter(s) to take part. Champions Trophy Day is a rare opportunity for members of the club to play in the same competition and spend time together socially whilst celebrating junior hockey which for many years has been the foundation upon which the club is built.

How it Works

The competition will run from 10.00 to 17.00 with a one-hour break allowing for refreshments and some time at the end to announce the not-so-important winners. Participants in the Champions Trophy tournament must be at least 11 years of age as of 1st September 2023 (i.e at Senior School). The cost of the day’s hockey will be £12 per person which can be paid on the day.

For the first time ever, we will be holding youth exhibition tournament for those children who are still at primary school and wish to take part. This tournament will take place during the midday break and will be free of charge for children to participate.

If you wish for your son(s) / daughter(s) to participate, please fill out the form below. Details as to which colour your son(s) / daughter(s) will need to wear will be communicated to you approximately 10 days before the event.
